Hello, I'm Fiona
I'm a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT Therapist) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapist (EMDR Therapist) based in Stockport, Greater Manchester.
I offer CBT and EMDR therapy. I am an accredited CBT therapist with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), and my therapeutic approach follows NICE Guidelines (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence).

Therapy for Anxiety, Depression, Trauma and More
If you’re reading this, it’s likely you’re looking to make some changes in your life — perhaps around anxiety, low mood, depression, or low self-esteem.
It can be hard to know where to begin, and the thought of reaching out for support may feel overwhelming. You may also be carrying the impact of past trauma, finding it an uphill struggle to move beyond what happened. It can feel lonely and hopeless at times and taking the first steps toward talking therapy often requires courage. You don’t have to face it alone; support is here when you’re ready.
How CBT and EMDR Therapy Can Help
Starting therapy can feel daunting, so I offer a warm, safe and empathic space to help you begin. I work collaboratively with clients using CBT and EMDR, bringing a friendly, respectful and down‑to‑earth approach to therapy.
I’ve practised CBT since 2009 and EMDR since 2022, with 15 years’ experience in the NHS Talking Therapies service. Supporting people to create meaningful change is something I care deeply about, and it’s a privilege to help clients move toward happier, more confident lives.
